I'm Dr. Sharat Chandra Bhardwaj and

I am a teacher who is passionate and committed to educating students those who have an interest in learning. I'm a researcher who enjoys learning about a problem's causes and their potential solutions. As a project member and research assistant, I collaborated with national research agencies such as DRDO, SAC and ISRO. With 11 years of expertise in research and teaching, I have the abilities to educate and accomplish projects successfully on schedule. Also, I am working with the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, as a technical trainer. Every phase of education is exciting to me and I enjoy contributing to it.

For various precise navigational applications using Indian NavIC system, it is imperative to have an accurate estimation of the ionospheric line-of-sight total electron content (TEC). In dual frequency TEC estimation from code and carrier phase measurements, the error is mainly caused by the satellite and receiver differential instrumental biases, which can be several TEC units.

When signals from satellites propagate through the ionosphere, a delay is introduced due to the presence of Total Electron Content (TEC) between transmitter and receiver. The generation of TEC in the ionosphere is primarily dependent on solar activity (Diurnal and Seasonal).

To meet the growing requirements of Standard Positioning Services (SPS) and Precision Services (PS), more and more GNSS systems operating at conventional GPS frequencies and higher frequency bands are launched.

Recognition of pattern in an image is work of ease for a human eye but it is a big challenge for a machine to detect that. This comes with the trend of autonomous machines with the utilization of image processing techniques.

Many atmospheric errors affect the positional accuracy of a satellite-based navigation device, such as troposphere, ionosphere, multipath, and so on, but the ionosphere is the most significant contributor to positional error.

During propagation of radio navigational signal through the ionosphere, velocity of radio signal changes due free electrons present in the path between transmitter and receiver. The delay experienced by the signal depends on the Total Electron Content (TEC) of ionosphere as well as frequency of the signal.

In tropo communication, the received signal suffers from slow varying multipath fading characterized by Rayleigh distribution, Doppler shift and delay spread. In this paper a tropo channel is simulated using Tapped Delay Line (TDL) structure with varying tap-gains.

The demand for satellite navigation is increasing exponentially. Even a handheld device (cell phones) can perform positional services due to the advancement of technology. However, the knowledge of its structure and working detail still requires a lot of effort to begin this field because of vast literature available in the public domain.

"Sharat Sir did a very great job guiding me or any student who works under him and trust me no one can explain the way he does. Under sir guidance I got a brief idea of how to master Engineering concepts and make the logics in real time. You just get excited and ambitious to do a lot of things, that is the way Sharat sir teaches you.
